i'd go find the RE Platinum releases.
honestly with the way this runs just look for the RE Platinums. All three were released on windows 95/98 they way this runs is straight shameful. I'm starting to think the only reason capcom is releasing this is to destroy the Previous versions saved by game preservation

RESeamlessHDProject has done gods work with the AI remasters for the Original Mediakite and Sourcenext versions, if these do not include any upscaling for the backgrounds, the free versions here will still be the best way to play the original trilogy on PC: https://www.reshdp.com/

A fast disappointment after excitement
Game is slowing and speeding up when I start moving. While running I cannot turn right. No options in the main menu. No key bindings in the main menu. You have to figure out F9 is needed to turn the game off. Looks like a hasty money grab.

Resident Evil Universal Control Scheme:
I feel that the tank controls are still dated and that there should be more untapped potential in applying analogue movement and aiming, as long as you can switch between camera views when holding down the L2 button. I have written my own RE universal control scheme with a few other gameplay enhancement suggestions that can be found through the first Reddit page result under the first "Resident Evil GOG Reddit" search result on Google. Whether you agree or disagree with these ideas is up to you. I appreciate feedback of any kind.
