Rayman® Forever

I have to admit, that this is the 1st time I'm playing Rayman 1, although I have always loved the series and franchise and played a lot of the Rayman games especially the GBC versions of Rayman 1&2. This game is beautifully designed and full of new Ideas and great gameplay. But don't be fooled: although it may seem very childish, it is a little difficult and may need your full attention. If you want a game, without Rabbids and the full Rayman effect, you have to buy this game. And by the way: I would hug everyone of GOG.com, if Rayman 2 would be released here, because I waited a long time for Rayman 1 to be released here.

Game have big issues on modern day computer running windows 8, blocky sound problems. Doesnt work well with 64 bit os.

Rayman is one of my favorite game series of all time. My favorite is actually Hoodlum Havoc, but the 1st game is great. Great Soundtrack, Good gameplay. This version of the game contains the original Rayman, and two expansions called Rayman Designer, and Rayman By His Fans. This game runs on DOSBox, and runs pretty well. Don't worry, you don't have to input all the text to play the game, it does it itself. This specific version reminds me of the PlayStation version, and it's great. The big problem with this version of the game is the Soundtrack is not complete. some tracks aren't in the game, and because of that, play different tracks. The reasoning for this is because they needed space for the two expansions, and removed some tracks. However, the whole soundtrack comes in MP3 Format, so its in my opinion, a good deal. 4 Stars.

Rayman Forever is the inferior version due to space limitations from the game disc when it came out in 1999. A lot of things had to be cut and compressed in order to fit everything on the single PC CD game disc. Also, the game is made even harder than before making the gameplay tedious if you die and die again. So, I recommend playing the original PlayStation version which it came out first in 1995, since the game disc can hold up to 51 tracks and each music track is separate unlike the PC version and sound better. Also, the sounds and levels are much better! So, if you want to complete your Rayman PC trilogy go ahead and get this as well. But, the PSX version is the best!

My antivirus programme detects 2 viruses. 2 trojan horses. I don't know if it was a mistake so I tried installing it on my other desktop and it said the same thing (they both use different antivirus software) I want to be clarified on the issue. Is it something I should worry about, and if it IS an actual virus, is it something that can be patched away in a future update?
