Worth your time.
It has some modern functionality issues, but if you're looking for a Chinese warring kingdoms era game from a specific time in RPG creation, this is what you want. This is the closest you'll get to Daoist Baldur's Gate.

Prince of the Qin
My first game in this genre. Simple and charming. I have been playing it since junior school and never get tired. If only someone would make a decent remake saving the initial charm but adding more things like having one's own house, item management, extra content, customization, romance, minigames perhaps

Is it a game or lecturing?
The game is not too bad, considering its age. However, a few hours into the game, my character is constantly lecturing me on how to be a good Chinese man and an honorable civil servant! Is this a game or a Chinese reeducation course against drinking and bribery? I would give this game 3 or even 4 stars, if it weren't so preachy...

HORRIBLE!!! ATROCIOUS!!!
The language translation is so poor, the dialogue is absolutely incoherent at times. This makes it impossible to complete quests... I am afraid to admit that the game is actually decent, but I fear that would mislead potential buyers ro believe it is worth buying; it is not. My older brother, RIP, was a linguist, speaking 12 languages fluently, with his specialty in Mandarin. I'm not sure if he would laugh or barf after reading this (and I use the term loosely) Dialogue. If you are monolingual, DO NOT BUY THIS TITLE!!! If you speak Mandarin or Cantonese, perhaps you could opt for one of those language versions. The devs simply used Google Translate and cheated us English-speaking gamers out of their money. Now, understand, GOG will refund me, but that does not negate the time I have put into a decent-playing game.
