Edgy, Stupid and Unstable
It's a horrible game on purpose, and there's an appeal to that. However, that wasn't my issue. This game is monotonous, walking around multiple maps with nothing to do. Additionally, it's so painfully unstable, the moment I got to Wednesday onward, it's effectively unplayable for more than an hour at a time. The humor is garbage (even for back then), the violence is repeatative, the "To-Do Narrative" is undercooked, and the gameplay gets stale within 5 minutes. I want to finish this, but I'm constantly crashing to the point where I wonder if it's even possible. (EDIT) After finishing the game, and combating numerous more crashes, I can verifiably say I'm done with this game. The final missions are some of the worst I've played in any FPS of any kind, and even while on a step below normal difficulty, the problem becomes enemies with twitch responses, and a grinding fight of attrition where one wrong move is a reset. This game wasted much of my time, but now I've got the vindication in mind that it's just a bottom-of-the-barrel sludge undeserving of even being remembered.
