Ok, but didn't click with me
I haven't played with mods yet and I'm only judging the base game. The game has its good parts. The freedom and multiple ways to go about your days, the unfiltered language, the mindless fun and chaos. However, the controls felt awkward, the graphics haven't aged well, there isn't a lot of replay value and it's pretty rough around the edges in other areas.

Postal 2 is hilarious, it’s “inappropriate” without trying too hard, which is why I think it works so well. I had wanted to play this game ever since I first saw the review on X-Play back in 2003, last summer I finally got around to playing it on Steam and was not disappointed. The game was so good that I wanted to actually own it, so I purchased it on GOG as well. PROS: -A game made before everyone pretended to be offended by everything on Twitter. -A game made before Twitter. -Features my hero Gary Coleman. -Paradise Lost DLC is worth playing as well. CONS: -The controller support is pretty dodgy.

Solve problems with extreme prejudice
I should preface that I got this game for free, however even at the 10$ asking price it is totally worth it. So Postal 2, a game where you can wait in lines to get through daily life for a week or avoid the lines by causing mass chaos (and assuming you get arrested for having your fly down and get the police outfit, without police interference). The package here on GOG is about your standard fare for modern Postal 2 including almost all DLCs prior to Paradise Lost (so 7 days or so of gameplay) minus Corkscrew Rules and some community mods (unlike the Steam version) and is definitely worth picking up. As for gameplay, shooting in Postal 2 isn't great but that really is not its selling point, you buy this game to either be laughing, make other people feel uncomfortable should they walk in on you, and/or to be horribly offended yourself. So would I recommend it? Heck yes, now go cause violence!

Well for what it is its good..
This game was and may still be very controversial, basically all the hype and conjecture is lies. What it is, is very simple its a FPS shooter with choices, as was common at the time most are based on scripted sequences. This game is very fun and very not family friendly as should be obvious. It comes with the first 2 expansions the weekend and the multiplayer which looks to be broken. From a technical standpoint this game works amazingly for being so old and looks ok.
