just like i remembered
Comes with all the memories from playing this as a kid, sort of glitches in some areas but works itself out really quickly. 100% worth the price!! played for like 3 hours straight the first night i had it.

Still plays well and looks good in 2025, though getting the "widescreen fix" is highly recommended for better resolution.

All Time Classic
Impressions Games created great city builders, and were legendary developers. Pharaoh is their very best in my opinion. Watching the pyramids being constructed, if you have the patience is an almost Zen-like experience - from how the foundations were (it is thought) made flat by digging channels and filling them with water, then marking the levels before draining - to the awesome pyramid construction work using hundreds of people to drag the stone to the site. It is all there. Still not sure if I've seen a citybuilder do anything better . . .

Fantastic
As pointy, clicky, isometric manager games go this is one of the best. And just as time consuming (in a fun way) as it was back in the late 1990s. Once started it's really hard to stop until you've compeleted a level/map. Except now the screen is MASSIVE and it's more of a thrill to watch all the little Egyptian plebs and their camels walking around while the Gods bless and curse this and that.
