Underpolished and poorly advertised
Underpolished: The game loves to repeat "Look upon my works, ye might, and despair!" It does not, however, provide any context. This is generally how the game operates - bits and pieces of story are scattered around, but never enough to pull a narrative together. Similarly, game mechanics (like "opportunities") don't really match what little flavor there is. Don't play this if you're looking for story or roleplay. There's none to be had. Poorly advertised: This game advertises itself as a 4K lite. This is a bit of an exaggeration. If you scroll up to tags and click "show more", you'll see that this is actually a board game. That's the sort of experience you're in for. More RISK, less Sis Meyer. With a ruleset and a calculator, you could print out a gameboard and play it as a physical board game.

Civ Wannabe
Why is every game trying to now copy Sid Meir's winning formula. Can't games get their own ideas? The primitive graphics are hard to beat after playing games like CIV IV.. A.I stumbles around unless on the hardest difficulty, doesn't offer anything new that hasn't been done a thousand times before.
