Build your settlement on the newly discovered continent of Northgard! Assign your Vikings to various jobs and manage your resources carefully to survive harsh winters and ferocious foes. Expand your clan strategically by chasing conquest, fame, lore or trade victory. 


 
 

Survive and conquer the unforgiving wilderness of Northgard by mastering the unique attributes of the many different clans that inhabit the continent! Each clan has its own unique specificities, bonuses and features, introducing new ways of playing and methods to achieve victory. 


 
 

Conquest mode. 

Choose your clan and fight through a number of unique scenarios and situations! Northgard Conquest is a standalone game mode that can be played solo or co-op, with a succession of various challenges offering a gaming expansion of 100 hours. 


 
 

Multiplayer mode. 

Play in multiplayer with or against your friends in various game modes! Pick the lobby you want and face off against other players to experience a unique level of challenges. If you’re a veteran at the game, test your might in ranked lobbies to prove you’re the real king of Northgard! 


 
 

Story mode. 

The Viking High King is murdered and his Regal Horn is stolen by a man named Hagen. This event kickstarts a saga that will take Rig, his son and heir accompanied by his right-hand man Brand through the new continent of Northgard to discover the reasons behind his father’s assassination.

Won't run on my Mac (OS X 10.14.6)

Sorry to say, but I can't get the copy of Northgard I just bought to run. Run from GoG Galaxy I get a popup "hl quit unexpectedly." Run from the commandline, I get a bit more info $ ./osx/run.sh Init GOG dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _objc_opt_respondsToSelector Referenced from: osx/libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib (which was built for Mac OS X 10.15) Expected in: /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib dyld: Symbol not found: _objc_opt_respondsToSelector Referenced from: osx/libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib (which was built for Mac OS X 10.15) Expected in: /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib ./osx/run.sh: line 1: 34706 Abort trap: 6 DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=osx ./osx/hl sdlboot.dat "$@" Notice the error message says the libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib library was built for Mac OS X 10.15 —I'm on 10.14.6 (don't want to upgrade to a later version for compatibility reasons). Mailed the developer's support address, asking, "Do you have a fix/workaround or should I request a refund?" I await a reply.

Slow and shallow

This game is combination of civilization and RTS or moba game as you will not control many units. It is played in realtime but you fight for map tiles similar to civilization. Also discovering the map is really similar to civilization. I own it on steam and played 8hours before I finally gave up. This game is super slow. You are waiting for resources all the time and you have nothing to do but watch your units to move around the map. I had a time to chat with friends while playing "RTS" game!

Crashes still exist

Playing a normal single player map, the game crashes after an amount of time... maybe 30 minutes. It's so bad it causes my entire system to hang, requiring a hard reset a few times for it to turn back on properly. I have exhausted all options, so I have wasted my money sadly because I have waited a long time to play this game. I play games that demand much more of my system, and my computer is completely up to date and more than enough to play this game. I hope you all get to enjoy it... I'm too afraid to continue trying as I'm worried my machine could get screwed.

Where do I begin? Too simple, gets boring in less than an hour. Too punishing, doesn't let you go back on decisions, if you f up in a mission you have to restart, there's no mending your way. The graphics are puke, this is like watching paint dry, don't get this even for a cent, your life is worth more than this garbage.
