Beschreibung

While Nobody Wants to Die is not a long game, that short length has allowed the developers to pack in a solid detective story and a beautifully designed world with surprisingly deep lore. The investigation mechanics aren’t the best, but don’t let that put you off this slick, quick love letter to old-school detective films.

Beautiful and thoughtful
Excellent world building, beautiful scapes and a good story. Not much gameplay, this is more interactive fiction that a game. But a good one.

This game could be such a great movie
This world has so much potentional int it so many untold stories inside, I would love to see a movie which play in this univerz. Other than that its a good game I'll replay it later on.

Great interactive movie
Not much gameplay, just a few choices here and there, and even those are mostly for flavor. Pretty much the idea of Altered Carbon with the neo-noir atmosphere of Blade Runner and gameplay of a Telltale Game. But it was absolutely stunning, both beautiful and depressing. The art direction and the music was top notch. The environment made me look around all the time (I think I went through every corner of the game just to feel a little bit more of the atmosphere). I don't know about any other game that would feel like this. And last but not least the story - I'd say the storytelling goes hard and fits the genre perfectly. It's quite complex, but in the end, it clicks neatly (as far as I know). The ending I got fit the genre, which I adore, so I was not happy... because that's how it's supposed to be.
