Delicious jank
Have it on Steam. The game's a tough recommendation at this time, but it'll be an easy sell once they optimize it a bit better. Gotta use DLSS set to 'performance' to sustain constant 144 FPS at 1440p/High on my RTX 2070 Super and Ryzen 7 3700X. This is a fast-paced FPS with punchy weapons and incredibly fluid movement (you can dash, double-jump, run on walls, and use a grappling hook to reach distant ledges and walls). The leveling mechanics are akin to those of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy (the fans of which I can wholeheartedly recommend this game to since we're already used to the jank), where you earn some sort of currency and upgrade your body parts. Naturally, I went for legs first here as well. You also use that currency to purchase and upgrade your weapons and customization options are plentiful, it's been a time-sink for me. You do this in a small hub area from which you depart for main missions and take up side jobs for cash. The level design is phenomenal, both artistically and in terms of layout, they're VAST - the soundtrack is fitting and unique, switching between atmospheric synth-heavy instrumentals and hard-hitting metal depending on the situation. Comparisons drawn between Necromunda and Doom: Eternal are justified, but Necromunda isn't streamlined the way Eternal is in the slightest, both are amazing in their own rights When they optimize it a bit better and increase the FOV to 120 (as well as let you alter the horizontal FOV), this is an easy sell to FPS fans and at full price too, Necromunda is loads of fun.
