Nantucket is a strangely compelling and addictive game that acts as a follow up to Herman Melville's Moby Dick. While it can be quite repetitive, it's this loop as you develop your ship and crew that lets the game sink its harpoon into you. With a great visual design and some songs made just for the game, alongside the in-game newspaper that sticks true to the in-game date, Nantucket has buckets of atmosphere. I doubt it's a game for everybody, but Moby Dick, Strategy and Simulation fans (you don't have to be all three) will find this a charming game.

A "whale" of a Time

Imagine if SJWs actually worried about things that matter, rather than things that did not. Like....actual whales instead of make believe....whales. Why do SJWs try so hard to cover up the past? It is that connection to the past that reveals how we should and shouldn't proceed into the future....Make games about whales, slaves, or whatever you choose to. What sick kind of game is this?!

Bet they go for apes next time. "Imagine if slavery still went on today despite vilification. Then imagine a game that tasked you with running a slave plantation, profiting by abusing slaves. Imagine there was no commentary on it as being morally objectionable. I think people would find that distasteful, even though it was only a "game". Change it to whaling and you can see the problem. Imagine there was no commentary on it as being morally objectionable. I think people would find that distasteful, even though it was only a "game". Change it to whaling and you can see the problem. Ahab was an awful person, who'd want to play him in a game?
