Mortal Kombat Trilogy

I picked this one up for nostalgia I suppose. I used to play MK in the arcade and ruin folks. I do remember playing this on PS1 and enjoying it. I may have had much lower standards back then though regarding CPU opponent AI. Even on very easy it does that reaction to every move you do AI. As in, it knows the button presses and the reactions to those button presses. I seem to remember combatting this by just using Robot Smoke all the time with the jump back, kick, and then teleport punch which always made the CPU AI respond with a projectile. This version is the same AI. Even on very easy it's just not fun to play the "story mode" of the game due to the AI. It actually just destroys the game which was a disfunction of this generation of fighting games. I will say though that GOG has done an excellent job of making the game accessible. Controller support worked perfectly for may. Game ran as it should. It's just too bad the single player mode is so bad in regards to AI. This is probably great if you have a room full of old buddies looking to play each other but beyond that this game is a no go.

Finally, a legit copy of this game is available once more for sale. On my win10 it would not even launch, but my new PC (Win11Pro) is able to play it. You absolutely must mess the settings before launching the game and get it clear and not blurred. After some testing, I finally got it to be pixel perfect with perfect clarity...looks amazing when the pixels are clear without any blur at all... I did read that many had it working on Win10 so it may have just been my win10 PC that had the issue. BTW, yes, this version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy has Chameleon. :)

i couldnt believe this was on sale here, the minute i saw it was on my cart immediately , I played it on my ROG ally and it played good .no regrets
