More than 20 years ago, I loved playing this game on my elder brother's Amiga 500, finished it many times. I still remember the first time I finished it, it was pure joy. A few years back, I finished it again on my emulator. Not the same joy with the childhood win, that's for sure, but the game had the same charm it had back in 90s. This is one of those games that will never get old. Just be wary of potential heart attacks in the swamp region encounters. The chills... Nightmare fuel :) I never played this game with a friend, but I guess it would be really enjoyable considering the flow and mechanics of the game. The music is totally captivating, too.

“Beware of the fierce baloks of the northern wastelands” You will be saying this for 30 years after playing this. Just get it. An absolutely unique game.

OMG! I have looked for this game for so long; I think I had it from some dodgy site and it only worked on Dosbox. The crazy story of why I love this game so much is, back in the day, I used to go hang at a mate's place and he had a job where he would finish like an hour after I got to his house. So, his little bro would fire up games on his computer and we would play this and HoMM3. Of course, he'd kick my ass even though he was about 6 years younger than me (I think he was like 8 at the time). To the game: it is one of those games that you need learn the mechanics for in order to do well. I remember a little trick that worked once and that is cornering the dragon. It is allllll about timing. This is an absolute gem, and I say this as someone who has played it when I was much younger, and also in 2010s. It stands up due to its mechanics and can still be a lot of fun today. Thank you GOG for bringing this gem to us!!!!!!!!!!!!
