Great single player multi player game!

I have only played for a couple of days but this game is fun and addictive. This is a multi player game with your normal multi player game modes like most frags win and capture the flag. I like it because you can play single player. The computer AI is a bit lacking but I enjoy running over the stupid guy that jumps out of the truck to shoot at me in a hummer. The vehicles are fun and add a lot to the game. This game is how I wish command and conquer renegade was like. You earn a point for every mode you complete on each map to unlock more maps. This is just a great game.

A nice online shooter

I had never played Mobile Forces before I bought it off GOG. The game seemed interesting and I decided to buy it - and I'm not disappointed! Mobile Forces is pretty much your average online shooter, with a few minor twists. First, the vehicles: There are a few different ones, all varying in speed and durability. They are a bit too durable for my taste: Your average jeep can take two hits from a rocket launcher, and the bulkiest tank takes a whopping four... this is especially annoying in CTF, when enemies escaping with your flag are basically invincible. But they're still a nice touch and the maps are quite big, so traversing them by foot would be too slow. The second thing that makes Mobile Forces stand out is the inventory system, which I like very much. You have six inventory slots, and different weapons and items take up different amounts of slots. Every time you respawn, you get the menu to choose your equipment. You could, for example, take a rocket launcher and an assault rifle . Or a shotgun, a sniper rifle and some laser tripwire bombs. Or a pistol and a deployable minigun. There are many different combinations to choose from, but only 10 items in total. More would've been nicer, but everything essential is in there. If you like online shooters, you'll definitely like mobile forces. Well worth the six bucks.

Multiplayer FUN

I've spent countless hours playing with my friends to mobile forces. Really fun for 2+2 players + bots. For me, the only "bomb type" game XDDDDDDDDD

A (FPS) gem

Hi, Mobile Forces is a (FPS). High graphics available. Singleplayer + Multiplayer. Compete in Missions mode or Skirmish mode. Enter vehicles and locations like, Waterfront, Western, Airport, Sawmill, Polar, Rail quarry + more. Skirmish mode allows you to set parameters for the location you set, like (number of bots, bot skill level, game time limit) and there is a (Hardcore) option, which in the long run I found to be worth it. A good amount of options available and configurable keys like, movements, jump, crouch, reload, enter vehicles + more. Weapons like, knife, pistol, machinegun, shotgun, sniper with zoom (in/out) with wheel, frag grenade, trip mine, rocket launcher. Battle soldiers who are opposed to you completing your missions. Can disable head bob or choose the level, can choose firing crosshair, can enable mini map and more. (Keyboard, Mouse, Joystick) compatible. NPC's voice speeches + chatter, sound effects, very good eerie music. Freedom of exploration. A excellent (FPS). YxDDVxY

AWESOME!

There is one thing new[er] games lack, and that is fun. I've played a lot of new games, including Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, etc. These are great, but I can't seem to find satisfaction. I used to play Mobile Forces all of the time. Then something happened to my disc (not sure really) and I eventually moved on. I was thinking about this game the other day when I wanted a 'good ole shooter' to just have fun with. Quake 3 doesn't want to run anymore (still sorting that out), and it's darker than most games. When I saw this on GOG, I freaked. I didn't even question the purchase. I can easily play it over and over, even though it's over a decade old. The best part? It fully supports 1920x1080 resolution. There are games from '07 that don't even do that. Worth every penny!
