I found a bug and I liked it!!
First of all I have to admit, that I most likely didn't get any literary references, since I prefer fantasy over surrealism, or more precisely „kafkaism“. I can judge the game for what it is or what meets the eye: an extraordinary trip, that starts a few millimeters above the floor and ends literally up in a tower. Concerning the story, you seem to live in a surveillance state and need to fight the system. The border between corrupt policemen and insects is blurry and you will have a hard time knowing, what is actually real. It’s totally awesome to observe gigantic humans from the book shelf, the game does a great job in delivering the „I am smaller than small“ vibe. I had the most fun trespassing human rooms with all their furniture and stuff. The other half of the time you will visit an insect village located „inside“ the walls, an insect harbor, that seems to be in the sewers or let’s say „between the worlds“. The controls are good and smooth, you can even climb vertical walls in case you have „glue“ on your legs. The soundtrack is beautifully eerie, the british voice overs are top notch. Only at the beginning it happened several times, that human conversations overlapped with lines of the protagonist. This made it hard to follow both narrations, which was a pity. The puzzles in the game were not that difficult, but the game keeps you intrigued with plattforming passages and a little exploration. The game was over in under 5 hours, but left me with a pleasant awe. You need to ask yourself, if less than 5 hours of excellent entertainment is worth the full price. In my case I would have to answer with YES.
