Poor Reputation Ruins Fixed Game
Managed to play it on a Windows Emulator. The game definitely has a bad reputation, but the devs here have managed to do a good job fixing it up, I applaud, them, although, I'd like to see a Mac OS X version of the game, especially seeing that the new game coming out even has a Mac OS X 10.6.8 version. The game is enjoyable, I had the original, but lost it years ago, and this is a great leap in improvement, but Mac compatibility would be nice.

Badly Misunderstood
This game, while not nearly as good as the first two out of the box, has had a very active modding community over the years tweaking the game to the point that I am confident in saying that it is as good as the others. All the various mods add features and tweak game balance in different ways so you may need to search for a fit before you enjoy. My only gripe is that are plenty of games here that are cheaper that are good and don't require outside tweaking.

Couldn't choose a 0/5 score
By far the biggest disapointment ever in the land of hyped sequels. I still remember playing MOO 1 and thinking how great it was. Then MOO 2 came along and blew #1 away, friends and I played #2 for hours and hours. Then years went by with no sequel, then MOO 3 was announced. The hype was immense, the internet machine was at work (something that didn't exist with the first 2 games). Then on release day I bought it right away and installed it and at first thought am I playing this wrong. NOPE, the game if you can call it that was so bad it felt like I was playing Excel the video game or something. There was no game anywhere in this pile of garbage. It was sooo bad! whoever worked on this game must live in complete shame for creating the worst game in history. Maybe one day a spiritual sequel will arrive that will make MOO 2 proud. Disgruntled fan.....

How to sum up MooIII
It is the Jar Jar Binks of the video Game world. Yes even such greats as Highlander II, and Nipples on the Batsuit seem to shine when held against this turd. Do I sound bitter? Its because MooII is still the best 4x game ever made and MooIII is the best example of aiming too high. To their credit the Devs tried to do something new, different and fun rather than just re-skinning and updating the previous game for a new generation. To the disappointment of all they missed the mark and would have had a hit simply re-skinning and updating the old game.
