For MoM nostalgia buffs only

The original MoM was an instant classic when it came out in 1994 and rightfully so. However in the almost 30 (even typing that makes me feel ancient!) years since, other games have come and gone that have improved on the fantasy 4X formula. Meanwhile this game remains what it always was, just hex based and much prettier. If you really need that nostalgia fix with a modern look, this may scratch the itch, but quite frankly it doesn't do anything the Age of Wonders series (and probably a few others I can't think of) haven't done better in the years since. With AoW4 almost out, there's really no reason to play this unless you're an absolute die-hard fan of the original. If you absolutely have to grab it, at least wait until it's on sale.

Classic game

At the end, a classic game under a new engine. Don't expect nothing new, but sometimes big changes are not needed if the basic formula works.

Same vibe, same game, better graphic

I used to play Might and Magic up to day, but recently I've discovered this remake. Its not Elements, or Planar Conquest which are sorta sequel to the original, this is a carefully crafted remake of the one and only Master of Magic. It worth every penny I paid and the joy is immense. The greatest emmories of my childhood are transformed. I love it.

It not the origainal by it's thats ok

I played the Origanal Master of Magic and this is a good remake BUT it has it flaws IMO. Some good points are: Loads of wizards to pick from/portrats. Lots of skills to pick from. Humor. More detales on races. Better looking Some bad points are: Casting a lot of spells should line up but it just kind of holds the spell in a side bar. Heros no longer count to keeping happy. New units will auto be grouped togeather and if in guard mode so will the new units (like settlers). Cam auto follows units. Can be hit and miss if the units will have a path when you end the turn All in all I'd say the game is 95% good

Nice remake

This is MOM and well i used too much time with it in the past... Upgraded graphics are fine and I like the hex map over the original square. Most likely old MOM players will like this. New gamers without history bloat may find better 4X games, but there are not too many fantasy 4X so I welcome this remake! Some fine tuning and maybe small tweaks will keep this old classic in my game collection that get dusted of from time to time!
