Weakest of the Mafia Games
Mafia 1 is a top all time game for me. Loved that when it orignally released. Mafia 2 was very good as well. SPOILERS Mafia 3... It's got some good but a lot of bad. Setting is unique for a video game. The story starts interesting. I lost interest though once you decide to take over the city as revenge lol. After being double crossed, which was a heck of start to a game, I was like let's goooo. Revenge time. But Clay wants revenge by taking over. It is so cheesy and what starts off strong, fizzles out instantly. Now you start the grind. M3 went the route of mini map, grocery list, go here - go there style gameplay. It is incredibly tedious. It also makes little sense. You will enter an enemy zone, kill everyone, leave, and within 3 minutes have to go back, the enemies are replaced and you go through it all again. It is some of the dumbest gameplay I have honestly seen. The visuals are great. Music is awesome using licensed hits from the era. Another reivew mentioned this game reminded them of The Godfather video game and I completely agree. I highly doubt I'll finish it. Mafia 1 and 2 need a replay and they are better games.
