Love & Sex: Second Base is a dating sim where a geeky guy (hopefully you) gets to be be roomates with two very hot people and meet plenty of others in his daily life.
Mike is a young code monkey in a big company, even surrounded with beautiful girls his love life is in disarray.
His high school sweetheart cheated on him and his latest flame is dating on of his friends.
Will you be able to help him find love and avoid the pitfalls of dating life or will he end up alone and unhappy?
Basically, his live (and love live) is yours to control!
The aim of the game?
To get lucky with the partner of your choice!
Well, that and meeting, dating and then getting it on in as many places, situations and positions as you can imagine.
Keep it casual or get serious – even ask them to marry you or start a family together.
The choice is yours.
Not only that, you can choose to be a faithful partner or play away the first chance you get.

Surprisingly Good
Looking for some fun, sexy games, I have played a few other adult visual novels. I did not enjoy any them. This was the last one I was going to try before giving up on the concept. I will probably still never pick up another one, but if I do, it will be because this one has shown me that they can be well executed. The story is engaging, which I was not expecting. I'm not a VN aficionado, but I do not see where the attribute management system could be executed any better. I very much enjoy the character art. I struggled a little giving a five star review because, at the end of the day, it's still a VN. However, I seldom give reviews at all. Since I felt compelled to write this review, which is exceedingly rare for me, I feel it has earned the fifth star. I also feel it almost perfectly executes its goal and that a game should be rated on how well it executes its purpose, not on how it stacks up to games from other genres. There are some small annoyences with how some events are triggered, but save often and it won't be a problem.

Good game, surprisingly re-playable
First the good: Pretty funny storylines Interesting characters Re-playable Overall, pretty good writing throughout. The bad: Can be a bit grindy, but it is not a game stopper thanks to the Game+ mode. For some reason the developer decided to inject their own political bias into the game. Fortunately it is not overwhelming, just a few times that are avoidable once you know they are there, but it does limit your options with a few of the girls. I play games to get away from that rhetoric... I would still highly recommend the game as the pluses far outweigh the minuses
