A great, flawed game.

I originally gave this five stars due to nostalgia, but had to downgrade it. This is, hands down, a great game and deserving of your money. It has a lovely art style, a good story, and good music/sound design. It's just a fun game, period. The downside, however, is that the game has a static camera that makes jumps MUCH tougher than it needs to be, and the controls can be unresponsive, causing a lot of unneeded deaths at the hands of enemies (that you should have been able to take out). Again, keeping that in mind, still a game deserving of your money!

Nostalgic!

I have such fond memories of this game!! I was actually thinking about searching for this game on eBay but wasn't sure if I could get it running in Win7. Now, I don't have to worry about that! THANK YOU GOG!

Back to the good old days.

I can remember back when I was younger and I got this game, which was after I played the PC Gamer demo, which my dad also played. The game is great and the story is long. I can remember vividly the first time I made it to cloning fortress with the stone behind the wall. That part took me weeks to complete and I had to physically buy the guide, which finally told me to “pour the magic water onto the stone” and the fortress explodes. And who wants cherry flavored sewage water? I never figured out how to correctly get the catamaran, but I just keep walking back and forth on the screen where I can buy it and collect the $10 from the trash can, until I have enough. Is this the dos version, or LBA for Windows, which I found was better than running in dos, because of higher resolutions.

OMG

I LOVED this game. I ended up playing it when our main computer went down, and I was on our 2nd. I had this to play (the others wouldn't play on the lower end system) but this... I played this for hours, days, months... Replayed it over and over... man... I miss those years, their was charm, their was beauty, and the plot... man.... wish we could continue the universe that is LBA... makes me want to cry.
