    love KKND

    This is one of those games you DON'T skip the into. It sets up the atmosphere of the game. READ (don't skip) the scenario briefings and try not to fall off your chair laughing. I have these games on CD : KKND , KKND Xtreme (both first version) and KKND Krossfire (KKND 2). You play as Survivor (normal human), Evolved (mutated human) or Series 9 (robot in KKND 2). KKND 2 is set 70 years after KKND 1. Play KKND 1 first so that coments in KKND 2 make sense. Some people just DON'T get along :) :)

    The best soundtrack, second only to C&C.

    KKND brings back the memories of games being fun to play, yes the graphics are a bit dated and the cut scenes are not in 4K, but they will make you laugh and the game has so much soul. The music is spot on and is tailored to each of the factions that you can play, all the teams have strengths and weaknesses that you will figure out later. The story line is simple, there are 3 teams: 1: Humans AKA the survivors, after a war the humans nuked the world and hid in bunkers to wait out the radiation. After many years they crawled out of the bunkers and found the world was in a mess, had been colonized by mutants and the farming drones and equipment now all have plasma cannons. 2: Series 9, AKA a bunch of obsolete farming robots that had no reason to exist after the nuke fest killed all life and wiped out all the crops, as the robots had artificial intelligence they decided to weaponize and wipe out everything else that lives. 3: The Evolved, the mutated, the poor lifeforms that were not safe in bunkers mutated from the radiation and exist as an angry mob made up of various mutated lifeforms. A festering cesspool of subterranean sub classes. All in all a game similar to command and conquer but a lot more weighted towards rampant destruction, frantic battles, massive explosions, insane weapons and hilarious cut scenes. A whole lotta fun. Some groups do not get along

    UPDATE THE GAME TO RUN ON WIN11

    this game nees another update to even play it on win11 pcs once they roll out the death of win10 support most of the retro games on GoG wont even work on win11 so many games need to be updated in order for them to run/work please fix this issue. once this has been fixed i will remove my review and give it 5 stars
