PROBLEMS CAN BE FIXED
Okay guys before buying the game i was little concerned about the noise in comment section reporting the CRITICAL GAME BREAKING BUGS THAT HAS NO FIX. There is a fix - here is short how to - go to your install path folder, find the KKND in the folder find the options.cfg file, edit with notepad and set following values high: MAXUNITS 150 MAXBULLETS 200 MAXEXPLOSIONS 200 MAXFLUFF 100 MAXSHADOW 100 MAXSYNC 30 MAXDEFENDERS 50 MAXCOWS 20 MAXSCHRAPNEL 20 MAXCRATERS 40 AIFACTOR1 100 AIFACTOR2 100 I've put all mine to 9999 and I do not encounter the unit cannot be built bug anymore, however i do encounter the mission failed bug. So as a workaround for that, again I edit this file, change some random value to something, save it and then load the latest save and continue the game. Mission failed does not come anymore. Annoying as it is, it allows me to complete every mission so far. Also please remember this game was released to be ran on PS1 obviously devs had to put some hard limit in place that would cause - unit can not be built bug, however the Mission failed bug is a script error, which gets fixed by either game reload or by this option file edit. So all in all great game to tickle those memory softspots.
