Wonderful content - terrible edition
The goodies are not well organized and you can't understand exactly where each thing came from. Most of them come from Peasants Rebellion and Shattered Kingdom is left aside. The manual is a big mess. It seems to be digitized horribly from a scan of the original, containing terrible editing errors like huge disalignments and just a white background instead of the original page-like brown. There is also some big blunders like the Woodcutter's Hut text being copied into the Quarry page (and the correct Quarry text missing). From what I can imagine, the original was in German and the editor was given the task to translate and digitize it, but did it very poorly. GOG, please provide us the original German manuals too, they are just beautiful! Also, the sound library is completely disorganized. There are many repeated songs, there is no way to know exactly where the songs came from (released CD, game rip, game files, etc) and also, the Shattered Kingdom OST does not have a package although its songs are scattered around the existing albums. There are also other issues, like the animations having only 7 of them (why not all? why these 7 in particular?) In short: this edition is very bad, but as KaM provides some of the best artwork of all times, I still awarded this artwork collection a 3/5.
