The Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition contains award-winning Kingdom Come: Deliverance and all released DLCs.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance You're Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!
Treasures of the Past Treasure maps of the lords banished by King Sigismund of Hungary, leading to the hidden treasures of those patriots, bandits and schemers.
From the Ashes As a newly appointed bailiff, you must decide what buildings to erect and what people to bring in, and you must also settle disputes between the villagers. Each building is unique and comes with its own upgrades, material and labour requirements, so you will face some difficult decisions.
The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon The quest DLC revolves around his attempts to woo the fairest maid he has ever set eyes upon, and his success will not depend only on his own mastery of the art of love – it’s also up to his trusty wingman, you - Henry, to ensure that The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon come to a happy end!
Band of Bastards Kingdom Come: Deliverance's third DLC focuses on combat and minor skirmishes. Sir Radzig's old enemies are pillaging his estates, so he enlists the help of an old acquaintance, Kuno of Rychwald, the leader of an infamous mercenary band. Naturally, they need a guide, and who better for the job than Henry?
A Woman's Lot Armed with fortitude and dignity, she faces the coming days with a smile on her lips. And since God moves in mysterious ways, none of us can know the lot we shall have to bear. But it is often those of whom we least expect it who encounter an extraordinary destiny...
To me it feels that this game took many aspects from other great RPGs and improved it further.
The combat system reminds me the one which was used in Morrowind, as you could choose the side from which you would swing your weapon- though Kingdom Come vastly improves it with realism. Horse riding, lock-picking, thieving, guards with torches at nigh and etc gives me a feeling like I would play Oblivion for the first time. Also, game's difficulty resonates with Gothic I and II.
Haven't finished the game yet. Only 50hours into it. But no doubt this is an excellent gem.
Pros:
Nice story
Good graphics
Well-researched medieval themes
Good illustrations
Super-interesting Characters.
Cons:
Needless Complexity for the sake of complexity (many reskinned "fatigue" indicators (sleep, hunger, leg damage etc) for no reason. (One can easily find food, so why do I have to eat an apple all the time). Why not make a pooping/taking a piss timer as well for the sake of realism (you don't have to hire me for that one I am giving it to you for free).
The game does not let you make some critical choices but it **makes** them for you. In the game a character barked some information at some point for no reason. That is partly justifiable for the big stuff in order to keep the game going (i.e. grand purpose) but for certain smaller stuff that is inexcusable. It doesn't even give you the illusion of choice. This is a big contrast to the witcher where you are given a set of options.
Your hero is handicapped. The game is not fair. What I mean is if you are selling this "realism" part why should NPCs have a separate set of stats. If I get instakilled with one hit when I do not wear any armour I expect to be able to kill an NPC if I stab them in their brain from behind and not have them casually turn around and murder me.
Again if you sell this pseudorealism please make the character able to climb stuff. Instead he is hindered by anything above his lower chest.
Make stuff clear. When one searches kingdom and shovel there are literally autocompleted results meaning that other players had the same problem i.e. the items were not clearly seen and you had to be superclose to see them.
Overall the vanilla experience is not worth it. It has pseudorealism and pseudodeep combat. Maybe buy this if you have the time to mod it OR if you are super into renaissance/medieval times.
I got this game for free from Epic Games and completed it. Then I bought the game with all the DLC on another platform, transferred my saves and completed it. I probably have about 200 hours played. This game is very cool, I'm waiting for the next part.
I don't understand why the basic version and the version with all the DLCs are sold separately in GOG, and not on the same page where you can choose the edition of the game
I had the game in library for multiple years and never went past the prologue. Not necessarily because I disliked my first hour into it, but truth be told, I wasn't hooked that much.
Here we are, in 2025, with a lot of hype around the second opus release. Which led me to give it a second chance, and guess what? I fall in love with this game.
Not everything is perfect, quite the opposite, but after all is said and done, it's definitely worth a shot.
You start as a peasant, and the game has a lot of simulation-like aspects. So you're going to suffer, and that's part of the story. But as the story goes-on, you're going to become more and more of the knight you wish to be. But even as a knight, does it makes sens being able to take down 5 ennemies at once? Definitely not, or only by a ton of luck. Don't expect anything different in the game.
You will have to adapt to the universe, take these elements into consideration before deciding what you're going to do. But the feeling of accomplishment when things are going as intended is rewarding in a way so few games can achieve.
Special note about the combat system > one of the best and most polished experience I ever had, complex and rewarding. That being said, the game tries to be realistic, so it is by no means easy, it's often messy and rarely ends up in your favor. Keep on practising, don't rush while being outnumbered, aim for the head and victory will be yours.
The game is still buggy to this date, with a lot of textures issues and unintended collisions.
World is more than realistic, dialogues are sometimes very fun and mature, story is correct enough to get you involved.
A must try and one of my all time favorite.
What a pleasure seeing devs get off the beaten track!
And also one of the few games worth spending its full price. It is, simply put, a masterpiece like any other. The story, the characters, the realism and the amazing cities, villages and woods makes it one of the best games I've ever played. Really hoping for a Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
