Kingdom Come: Deliverance – A Woman's Lot

This DLC is only for those who already love the main game and wants more of the story, and maybe a little more of a challenge. If you expect fast pace action and lots of killing like with Henry you’ll probably be disappointed. I was pretty immersed playing through this DLC, Theresa’s version of escaping Skalitz is even more emotional than Henry’s version. This alone was worth the cost. Also I enjoyed the challenge more than the main game, but this is very niche as the gameplay is geared toward stealth. It reminds me a lot of Thief 2 gameplay, with the stealth kills and bow use, and the main character is not very strong with close combat. Although I find sword stabbing against weak armored opponents an effective strategy as well. It is not that long to complete and I don’t recommend it if you are looking for a lot of combat. I spend much of the time is finding mischiefs, being a kleptomaniac, hiking and exploring. I just wish it was a bit longer so I have a chance to develop Theresa’s skill. At the end I managed to get her strength up to 6, sword 4, bow 9, so she could manage a 1 on 1 combat with a well armored cuman.

The stories of these two women in the Middle Ages are really interesting. Not only does it reveal Therese's story (a part that I felt was missing from the basic story) but it also addresses the place of women during this period and re-emphasizes the importance of religion. It's well done, maybe directional, but quite neat. This DLC is almost indispensable.

This DLC contains unmissable elements of the game: - The Dog is a nice addition and houndmaster skill is useful and bring a lot of gameplay elements (for hunting, fighting, exploring) - Theresa's perspective on the attack on Skalitz greatly completes the basic story by showing it from an even more tragic side - Johanka's quest is the best of the game for me, by its storyline and the way the quest is resolved with heavy influence of player's choices

I don't understand how this DLC is enjoyable. You get few saves despite the high number of Cumans, if it was only that it could have been a 3 star review, however in order to have a somewhat fair fight with the Cumans you are supposed to use the dog... the dog's AI is terrible at path finding and will follow the bandit or the Cuman due to the terrain. Some missions are also so long, i think it was a way to stretch the life expentancy of this contenu-pôor DLC, WHY WOULD I WALK THROUGHOUT SKALICE MULTIPLE TIMES TO FETCH ITEMS FOR THE WHOLE VILLAGE ?? If i wanted to walk ,look for flowers and get stab by some random people i would rather go to my local forest, at least my suffering would have ended quicker.
