Truly Unreal

This game is one of the most unique experiences I've ever had, from the combat, to the story, to the presentation. Everything in it is perfect. I can't recommend this game highly enough. It also has good replay value and there's apparently a ton more stuff to come, but I wouldn't care if this was the entire game. It's just phenomenal and I can't think of any other experience like it. Just make sure you don't read any spoilers. The story and the different ways of progressing through it (including ways that lead to, for example, secret boss fights) are truly magnificent.. Just get it. You won't be sorry!

A Must Buy

Katana: ZERO is a frustatingly fun game to play. Everything dies in one hit, even you. The game is short and sweet and straight to the point. The story is something that needs to be experienced instead of being told about it. A complete blind play-through would be the best experience. The animations are smooth, the OST is a banger (I still listen to it on a regular basis), and the gameplay is tight and responsive. Paired with amazing visual and audio feedback, playing through Katana: ZERO makes you feel like a badass--more so in the later stages. The characters are full of life and personality and compliment the dystopian-noir atmosphere the setting has going. There are some neat little unlocks that you can find throughout various stages that can alter your game-play experience and adds some replay value. Once you finish your first playthrough, you'll unlock speed-run mode and hard-mode. And as the name sounds, it cranks the difficulty up for a true samurai. The story insofar is incomplete with future content coming, but with no specific release date, but in it's current state, it's worth the asking price. A must buy indie game from Askiisoft and Devolver Digital.

wonderful fast paced masterpiece

kantana zero feels like 2D hotline miami with bullet time mechanic explained by the plot , also it has great level design [developers should add level and scenario editor like HM 2 ] I have request for gog team : please add achivments like on steam . It might sound strange but these little things make game more enjoyable , it gives a feel of acomplishment. thank you

Interesting art and fighting

I played it for 4 hours straight and reached the ending. The art style are great. Music and light combined into a excting exprience. You can sneak or fight. Some hidden elements and dialogues are interesting. However, the game is not completed yet. The story stopped abruptly. The game is not tough nor easy. The game is rather simple organized, well suited for its price. Not a must play to me. But worth a try if you like the trailer art style and plarformer.

Great game

Wonderfull soundtrack, very good story and an interesting gameplay with the bullet time. You can beat every levels in a different way than the first time. A little bit short, just 3 or 4 hours, but i heard that additional and free dlc will be released. I strongly recommend it.
