Great Sandbox, LOW hardware Requirements
Boy, Avalanche Studios know how to do sandbox gameplay! From the Just Cause series to Mad Max, Avalanche keeps nailing it! Where as the first Just Cause had PlayStation 2 era graphics, and a GTA-ish open world, yet suffered from wacky vehicle physics, Just cause 2 both fixes the vehicle issues and refines everything else. And I do mean EVERYTHING. From the 360 era (or better with any modern GPU) graphics, to a new and well implemented grappling mechanic, to a swath of vehicles and environment specific weapons, to a summer blockbuster movie story and presentation, to even gamepad support, Just Cause 2 is as good as sandbox games get. The recommended Nvidia GTS 250/ATI 5750 (512MB) GPUs are well below what even 2022's entry level GPUs can run. Even low profile graphics cards like the GT 710 (1GB), GT 730 (2GB), or GT 1030 (2GB) can run Just Cause 2 on max buttery smooth.
