Beschreibung
Command a team of 5 elite soldiers against an alien horde of 100,000. Surrounded on all sides, you must outmaneuver and outsmart the enemy.

The enemy is closing in around you. Your soldiers are being flanked and the perimeter is slowly collapsing under a vicious alien assault. Robotic turrets will not last much longer. Just a little more and the bugs will swarm into your unprotected base. What are your orders?

You order your soldiers to fall back to a defensive chokepoint and rebuild your defenses. Sacrifice the forward squads to gain some extra time. Gather your team while equipping them with flamethrowers and laser guns. Start building a siege cannon for fire support. Then, while the aliens are busy, flank their main hives to destroy and capture them.

You have just pulled off a tactical victory - but there's no time to rest.

The aliens are constantly mutating. One moment your shotguns are ripping through the horde, the next the aliens grow hard, bullet-proof armour. You must adapt as well. Equip your team with stealth suits, miniguns, grenade launchers - your commands will decide the battle's outcome.

Infested Planet is a good title that can provide many hours of intense action and solid strategic thinking, and I loved the way it focuses on the simple act of battling an ever-moving stream of aliens to create tension and a sense that every battle has clear stakes.

This game is still amazing.

A lot of years after the release this game is still amazing. I come back to it every 2 or 3 years and is always fun. Now I'm playing it on an ultrawide monitor with higher resolution without any problem. The game has an option to scale up the UI. I'm only play Palnetary Campaign mode, so picking both DLCs for me is a must.

Campain RTS done well

This game is designed to be played in either campaign mode. As a standalone it is a little to lite, but in campaign mode can be played in a single sitting of alien killing fun.

Mutation Rust Good Grief!

An arcadey mix of Cannon Fodder and Company of Heroes. I love the idea of RTS's but I stink at them. Infested Planet has the right amount of tactics and quick action for me. DLC campaign adds a really fun dimension to how you choose missions!

THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG

This game is the Starship Troopers game I always wanted. This is AWESOME!!! I have put so many hours into it. The game loop of thinking strategically, testing hypotheses, trying new units and abilities, and interesting mobs come together to make something truly special. I highly recommend Infested Planet!

Infested Planet- a gem

Infested Planet was developed by a one man company over 10 years ago. He has since moved on to Klei. The quality of this game and care put into its creation and development are obvious in every aspect of the game, from the storyline, weapons/characters/resources, and graphics and sound design.
