Great Game
I don't understand the critics here, telling me about privacy issues... I'm using a firewall for outgoing connections. Just prevent Horizon.exe from sending data, BING, no problem anymore... The funny things is, people who are serious about privacy often using the Chrome browser, muuhahaha... isn't this a paradox. OK, now: The game is beautiful, vast lands and a lush and colourful world. This mixture between Stone Age and Lost Future is cool, there's so much to be seen and done. I like the overall design and love Aloy, my sportive, tough and cute little girlfriend. I taught her how to tame these freaking electro-dinos an to fill her pockets with the most useful stuff. She loves to go shopping, can modify weapons like a pro and hunts like a ...ehh... huntress(?), climbs the highest mountains, can swim, and and and.. Aloy is nearly perfect... the only thing is: Her conversations are sometimes a bit dull. She's young and naive, and, ok... not the smartest girl on this planet. More of the i-will-shoot-an-arrow-in-your-a**-type of person. As a longtime player of Skyrim I enjoyed the freedom of going nearly everywhere doing nearly everything with everyone anytime. ;) The huge map is enclosed by mountains that you can't climb without reaching the end of the map. That's ok. You are hindered to enter some regions in the beginning and have to solve some quests to open them up. That's ok also. What I really dislike is the fact that there are so many scripted events. Eg. if you wanted to pick up items but spoke to a person before, it can prevent you from getting cool stuff, cause you automatically beamed to somewhere else to continue the quest. Not often, but these moments are there: You take one step too much in the direction of a person and an event will plop up... stoping you to continue with what you were doing. This is something I really really hated playing Tomb Raider, they used these scripted events excessively, and even if you could guess when and where it could happen, suddenly a unstoppable movie is started and the situation changes, you are hunted by something/someone or have to save your live from falling or rocks falling on you or you have to jump as fast as you can pressing X continuously... ugly... These are pseudo-action-parts to check, that the player isn't sleeping already cause of the boring scenes before... ;) I'm playing this on a MacBook 16 M1 Max with a home-made and optimised WineSkin (GPTK 3b, etc.) an it runs very well at 2056x1285 with <45-55 fps, which looks and feels nice. Sometimes there were graphical artefacts, but I think it is cause of the Wine version that I'm using. No crashes, on problems at all. Plays fine. Controller works out of the box. I think this game is something unique, i really like it and want to play "Horizon: Forbidden West" as soon as it is available on GOG (if ever/maybe never). Could I recommend this game? Absolululululutely! Sure there will be parts that are a bit boring, running here, bringing it there, getting this for that... but ok. But all in all it's a great fun to play and discover this huge world. This game is made for Adventurers with no problem to play as/with a girl (I've read comments here, some people complaining about this ;) Nono, Aloy is sweet as sugar and I hope that no-one is jealous when I say: She's MY girlfriend, not your's! :) Have fun!
Hilft dir das weiter?
