Easily worth 2-3x what I paid for it. Also runs flawlessly on Linux.

Stunning, enjoyable, challenging
Breath-taking hand-drawn visuals, simple yet elaborate mechanics, beautiful soundtrack, Linux native... what's not to love? First play-through is good for casual players as well. It is rewarding without being frustrating and hasn't got too much of a steep leaning curve. When you get stuck at a difficult fight you can try over and over without being punished for failing, and you can actually notice yourself getting better and better. Same goes for when you take some time figuring out when you can go to progress. Roaming around and exploring is very enjoyable due to the stunning art and the awe-inspiring soundtrack. I already got stuck a few times, but I keep coming back for how much I'm enjoying this game. Right now, playing with the keyboard doesn't give too much of a disadvantage, so I can resume my playthrough whenever I have some spare time, wherever I am, without having to carry my gamepad around.

Great Exploration, Disappointing Finish
Great game, but a tad overrated. I completed 99% of the base game in 28 hours and that's because there was a lot of backtracking at the end just to tie loose ends, but I expected the game to be longer. What I loved the most about this game is that you're always unlocking new areas, secrets, powers, and it got me hooked until the end. The free expasions are a big disappointment because they are just super difficult boss fights and that's it, nothing worth to unlock or new areas to explore, for me just a waste of time. Overall, it is a really good game when you're unlocking new areas, that should have been longer and had better expansions, I also don't see much replayability. 7/10. Buy on sale.

Just get it. The world that has been created here is just so cool, and coupled with the sound track... so good.

2D masterpiece
The most amazing 2D game from the whole history of games. That's it. Even Dark Souls lore wasn't so interesting like this one!
