Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

The game is OK, but having to wait 5 minutes because there's no option to skip the intro is ridiculous.

So I had the game for a couple of months, no problemo. Then, mouse and keyboard stopped working. I checked on forums, and did what they suggested; launch the game in administrator mode, shutdown all other peripherics, reinstalled the game, repaired/verify the files... Nothing worked. So I contacted game support, I got an answer 20 DAYS LATER! a REAL JOKE! He suggested that I verify/repair the game (That was already done, but did it again to no result) and suggested me to change the game resolution without further instructions... How the F am I supposed to change game resolution when I can't use mouse or keyboard in game? Click on game options??? Damn it! This is infurating.

I always loved this game and it was part of the reason why I joined here. I played it with my brother when we were kids and up until a few years ago when Windows decided to not let me install it anymore I was still paying it. Therefore I was really looking forward to get this game here. It's a brilliant game up until today (just look at all the reviews!) and would surely deserve 5 stars! It really pains me to give this kind of review... Unfortunately the game does not work on my PC. It is such a shame! When I start it, I have to open the task manager first and reclick the game to get the controls to work (with a good chance that it crashes). Once in the menue, sometimes there are no maps listed and if there are, the game crashes while loading the map. Also the random map generator does not work at all. I also tried some compatibily modes but that was even worse... Out of about 25 tries I was able to load a map ONCE and that one was functioning just fine. Next time it was again a complete mess. I still want to recommand the game! It's worth a try and judging from the other reviews it's running just fine on most systems. Just be aware that it can also be unplayable.

And i can't minimize it and do some other things in the meantime either. Friggin annoying. I just want to play the game but i can't due to some quite not very fun intro. The release is otherwise seemingly good, with all content included, unlike the Steam version (which is more expensive as well). Just that i spent half the time with the friggin intro. Plz fix in a patch.

I just purchased this game, but it wont even run on my computer, after i click run, my pc works for2- seconds and then the run game button goes green again as if i have never pressed it.
