There's very little to get from Haven Park that you can't get from any Animal Crossing title or indie darlings like Stardew Valley. The story is cute but very shallow and the game falls between feeling aimed at literal children with the simplicity of dialogue vs the unintentionally grim message of losing a grandparent. The art style is cute. The controls are annoying and makes the platforming worse than it needs to be, especially with zero camera control. I like the idea of traveling around, fixing camp sites but there is very little challenge to this and the campers don't want specific things to make a camp "perfect" so there's no need for the different buildings or items that you can craft. Also the whole "repair and maintain" assignment gets tiresome when you're running around with zero clue where a broken fence might be at, although the map tells you if you aren't finished with a zone's repairs so there's at least that. I feel unnecessarily harsh to this game, but I genuinely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My 6 year old niece wouldn't know what she needs to do even if the artstyle captured her attention and an older player would be bored with the premise.
Hilft dir das weiter?
