The Best ARPG Since Diablo 2

ARPGs have been an addiction for me ever since I played countless hours of Diablo II as a teenager, and Grim Dawn is the best game in the genre I've come across in all these years. Combat is a blast and character class customization has tons of variety and options without becoming overwhelming. It's so much fun creating a variety of characters to try out the different build options. On top of that, it's a good looking game and has a decent story. If you loved Diablo 2 and thought Diablo 3 was a dissappointment like I did, try Grim Dawn. I look forward to any future games from Crate Entertainment.

Best action role-playing dungeon crawler

The action role-playing dungeon crawler I have gotten the most joy and fun out off. Crate Entertainment really delivers and I am looking forward to the upcoming DLC.

Good game. If you like grinding

Grim Dawn is a good, dark ARPG that can entertains you for hours and hours and hours... The coolest thing? The classes ("masteries", sorry) and all the builds you can create from its bi-classes system and from the monstrous quantity of items, weapons and armors. The horrible thing? The time you have to dedicate to it. C'mon, I'm a grown man now and I simply DON'T HAVE 100 hours for leveling up each character I want to make. If you want to success at the hardest difficult you have to grind and loot A LOT, and that takes a lot of time (and, yes, after the 50th level, is quite... boring). And 99% of loot you will find is pure garbage. Wow. The rest: good atmosphere, interesting and balanced combat system, but plot non existent, and NPCs and music forgettable... I'm not a big fan of D3, and I liked GD more than it, but I still find Torchlight less pretentious and more suitable for a relaxed playstyle.

Fun and extensive

I played Titan Quest with my partner for a long time (more than 100h) and were looking for our next game. This is a very similar, classic ARPG but better in possibly every way. Same inventory, mission management and map, only with updated graphics and some improvements. Regarding gameplay, this is more akin to more classic ARPGs than Diablo 3 (I found it to be simpler than Grim Dawn, which I didnt like) so if you are fan of the genre, I highly recommend it, you will be right at home. Also the map is huge! And that is without including the expansions.

A better Titan Quest

I played Titan Quest before and an't go back to it since GRIM DAWN has similarities to it but with additional features. This is for my 4rth character and still I haven't seen most of the games since there are a lot of builds out there for every class. Recommended a a must buy on GOG since it can be played offline.
