Scare up some fun in this haunting world inspired by classic horror films like "Hellraiser" or "Ghost Ship". You become the Ghost Master in a unique witches brew of strategy, adventure, and ghoulish sim. Your sole purpose is to frighten the mortals right out of town.
Ghost Master features: 14 unique scenarios - ghoulish mysteries with multiple solutions; over 40 spirit types to command - from horrible cenobites like phantoms to hordes of spiders; 11 environments - ghostly atmospheres based on films of classic; horrors such as "Blair Witch" or "Evil Dead" and up to 30 separate characters per level for extended gameplay options.

OK game, bad missions
Ghost Master is an OK game with a reasonable interface. But accomplishing some of the missions is a real pain, partly due to bugs, and partly due to how difficult it is to really do things your own way. The bug that really stands out for me is on a ship level - half the time, you do everything right and the cutscene plays, but you don't get your reward. Very annoying, and there's nothing to do except restart and write off 20 minutes. When you're given a mission, you have to choose a team - but you have to choose that team BEFORE you see the layout, the characters, or the objectives! So you go in completely blind. Sometimes you'll just NEED to have an electrical storm, and you don't have that ghost anywhere. There's really nothing to do except write off 30 minutes of playtime and restart with a different team, which is very frustrating. How, exactly, to achieve something is also difficult to figure out. Sometimes you just need a mortal to walk in, and chasing/attracting that mortal there can be very difficult. So you spend your time hoping it'll happen, but without any direct way to make it happen. Ghost Master is an interesting game. But it can also be a frustrating time-sink. I'm not unhappy that I picked it up (I got it on special), and I think that any horror genre aficionado will enjoy the movie references.

Great idea,not so good execution
Good parts: Graphic Music, Voice acting Atmosphere Story The feeling when everything goes right Bad parts: Crashing Checkpoint erase upon restarting the game so you have to start levels from begging (did I say the Game crahses) Cannot skip logos upon starting (did I say the game crahses) Lots of annoying enemies Controls Terible parts: Dash slowdown time works only when in the air....and sometimes not even there

Clumsy interface leads to boredom
The clumsy interface and the steep learning curve aren't outweighed by the payoff of scaring everyone. I felt the game was boring, with little to do. It's very Sims-like, but not as well made - and I find the Sims immensely boring. Avoid if you don't like Sims-style gameplay.

Absolute garbage
I bought this on steam thinking Oh this is like the old SEGA game (which I have forgotten the name of) where you scare a family out of their house (only un updated version) Was I all but wrong. 1.) The confusing layout 2.) The ANNOYING camera angles 3.) Frustrating as Hell So called "Hints" where half the time you complete the level BY ACCIDENT Oh and believe me I TRIED to like this game but there is a REALLY ANNOYING part on level three on the first stage with the electrician and the welder where you can only free one of them and then YOU HAVE TO DO THE FRI%#ING WHOLE LEVEL AGAIN just so you can TRY to save the WELDER you can't even FIND the welder they are on about (I found him BY ACCIDENT) as there are NO SEE THROUGH WALLS/FLOOR you have to go DOWN a LEVEL and everything goes completely PITCH BLACK with no way of seeing what you are doing the next stage has a POLICE station and it's that point where I gave up you just can not scare the police out IM-FRI^%ING-POSSIBLE this is horrible I would NOT reccomend this THING to my worst Enemies (If i had any) as it is NOT a Game it's a HEADACHE
