Beschreibung
Full Throttle ist erstmals 1995 als "Vollgas" in Deutschland erschienen und gehört zu den glorreichen Adventures von Tim Schafer.
Damals noch von LucasArts veröffentlicht, macht sich Tim Schafer nun daran, die gefeierten Adventures aus den 90ern zu überarbeiten und neu zu veröffentlichen.
In Full Throttle taucht ihr in die Welt von Bikern, rauhem Straßenleben und Mord ein.
In der Neuauflage, der "Remastered"-Version, erwarten euch komplett neue, handgezeichnete, hochaufgelöste Grafiken, überarbeitete Sprache und Musik sowie einige neue (optionale) Funktionen wie Kommentare der Entwickler im Spiel.

Full Throttle Remastered mostly succeeds on two fronts: As a fresh way to revisit an old classic, and as the ideal entry point for players who haven't yet smacked rival bikers with a two-by-four on the Mine Road or figured out the combination to Old Man Corley's safe. There are a couple of sticking points for both old and new players, including some technical issues and (especially for the latter) that questionable "adventure game logic" which is anything but logical. Nevertheless, there's never been a better time to hit the open road with Ben and his gang.

Still has it!
It's been well 25 years since I played the original but I still found the story to be as funny as ever. I honestly don't remember the niggles that the original game might have had but the few I could count here (like the sometimes "hidden" pathways that I discovered almost by accident) pale in comparison to the sheer nostalgia this game brought to me. From the technical perspective, the team at Double Fine did a great job of bringing the game into the 21st century while keeping its original magic intact, just rounding out some of the rougher edges the (now) almost 30 years have left. I kinda wish I could get the official soundtrack in a legal way without having to shell out big bucks for a second-hand copy of the limited edition, but other than that, if you played the original, but even if you didn't and just want to see what it was like to play a LucasArts point-and-click adventure game from way back when, you won't make a mistake by picking this one up, as short as it may be.

A MUST PLAY!
This is a simple but really stylish point-and-click adventure. You play as a biker gang leader looking to get out of an ambush some crook set up for your gang. Also, you may have to do a little extra, like, saving the only motorcycle industry left in the country. A really good story. Simple, straightforward, with some memorable scenes and good humor. A true hidden gem for old school era.

Biker sein vom Feinsten...
Das Spiel mag von 95 sein und somit 30 Jahre alt, doch dank des Remastered ist das Spiel noch schöner als damals und hat weder seinen Witz noch seinen Charme von damals verloren. Ben ist immer noch der der alte Biker von damals und lässt sich immer noch genauso ungern wie damals verscheißern. Die UI des Spiels hat zwar nicht mehr diesen alten Balken unten am Bildschirm mit Ziehe, Drücke, Nimm, Schau an und so etwas wie ältere Lucasarts Spiele, das Spiel wurde mit einer neuen UI versehen, die dem Auge etwas wohlgefälliger ist. Die deutsche Sprachausgabe kann sich hören lassen.
