I DO NOT CARE THE ORIGINAL FLATOUT COOKED, I HAVE ZERO NOSTALGIA FOR EITHER SO WITHOUT THE WOOL OVER MY EYES THE CLASSIC IS BETTER.

Cheap way to have some fun
When you play that game with music on, it's just a standard racing arcade game from early 2000s. But that music is really crappy and annoying. Once you turn off the music, the game starts to be really good. You'll notice that simple arcade game has good racing physics, plenty of game modes and options. And every new race is more challenging - you don't have to be fast, you must learn how to carefully control your brakes, engine and nitro. The last races can be quite difficult! "Flatout" is not some hyper-realistic, expensive, complex game, like Need for Speed or Forza Horizon. It's just a simple racing game, but well-made!

Too much fun
Cars you can beat up, interesting tracks, great graphics and a Demolition Derby mode, what more do you want? This is a great LAN party game when you need a break from all that FPS action.
