Poor save system breaks multiplayer.
I had this on steam, and the way it worked was character levels were tied to controller slots. This is a bad system I have never seen in another game. It creates logistical and balance issues, and destroyed the long term prospect of the game for us. Balance wise, the game does not vibe well with single player either, so forget just playing one controller and grinding. I suggested several options to address this, including simply letting you assign the controller to a specific slot, so different players could work on grinding up all four profiles in different ways. The developers listened and responded politely, but years later the game was still the same. The rest of the game is fine. Not spectacular, but fine. It's sad they went that route. It seems like they poorly thought this out. Probably handled it in a rush, and realized they can't or don't want to address it.
