Game like a book

Hi Just finished this game. Its a good one, but before you buy it, let me tell you what you shoud expect. This game is a short story. It is not an action game. It tells you the story of a 40 years man who want to escape from his live problems and gets a job as a fire watch. This game is very easy to play, there is no riddle to solve, no cliffs to fall down. Its more like a movie or a book where you just have to go on to move the story. If you look for an adventure game which you can finish in 2 evenings and you do not have a need to bloodthirsty action then this game is for you. Prepare some tea, take a headset and immerse into nice video, greate audio and original story!

Gripping story. I was nervous playing!

I loved this game. I was quite nervous most of the time. To be fair, I created my own jump scares. I felt really immersed in the story and I was hoping the other character would pop up so I didn't feel alone. The walkie talkie communication is what makes this game stand out to me! I was always checking my back, expecting someone to pop out, especially during climbing. Navigation in this game is unique. Can be a lot of walking if you get lost. I'm not sure whether or not my decisions at the start of the game had any affect on the ending though? Either way I really enjoyed the game. I would recommend.

A Fine Little Game

It's a fine little game with soothing music and graphics pleasant to the eye. The length of the game is just right and makes it a bit easier to play through a second time. Do keep in mind though..this is one of those games that's not gonna be for everyone.

Adult emotional experience

This is a walking simulator with a very nice and deep story. There is no combat, no crafting and no "surviving". So if you're not an adult emotionally or you don't like these kinds of games - maybe give it a try, you may or may not like it. Maybe you SHOULD try it if it's the first game of this kind for you. The length of the game is perfect, about 6-7 hours. Anything more and it would become very boring considering the narrative direction the developer has taken. I didn't like the "cartoonish" visual style, it feels too overdone, even for a 2016 game. Having photo-realistic forest environment would've made the game even more immersive, but I guess it was out of scope for an indie studio. So without spoiling anything, if you're looking for an emotional adventure in a somewhat beautiful environment, definitely try this.
