Does what it says, just worse.
There are many FREE mods that do a much better job and without borking the game for a bunch of players.

Would give zero stars if I could. AVOID!
I tried this on steam, will just copy and paste that review here: Massive size for textures that are a bigger but majority are not any better quality. Honestly feels like they just took the majority of the textures from the base game and just resaved them at a higher resolution which gives no real benefit in quality. To quote Kif from Futurama "Making it bigger doesn't make it clearer" You can get better quality textures than this at the same resolution as the retail stuff from mod sites and you can get MASSIVELY better textures at higher than retail resolutions that are still smaller than this. Bethesda, if you read these, I strong request you actually go through and do an update to this where you address this. Its bad enough you keep refusing to update your games and just force the modders to fix your problems instead. But to release a HD Texture Pack that isn't really better than the retail resolution in 98% of the textures is sad. If you are going to release and HD pack like this, at least do us some justice with the size requirements and only include the textures that are actually a visual upgrade to the retail textures. That would probably shrink this thing from like 58GB down to like 400 MB tops.

Don't download this bloatted DLC
This DLC takes up 50+ gigs of space on your computer and shows barely any difference in quality. I mean, you really can not tell a difference on most of these textures. That is 99% of them. If you install HD Textures, you had better see a BIG difference, but I guarantee that in most cases you wont see any difference at all. The fact is, you can find texture mods that look far superior than this and still use up less space on your computer. Just do not bother with this DLC pack, it is not worth it. It also introduces this Dark Face bug on some NPCs that is inevitable. This bug even appears on the Xbox version of the game, and Xbox users do not have the option to skip this over-bloated DLC texture pack. Take the advantage here and DO NOT INSTALL THIS DLC.

It looks the same
So I tried this mod since everything looks a bit "2004" on the vanilla version and I wanted a bit sharper textures - but hell if I cannot see the difference. Like I'm on 4k with ultra texture in the settings and everything looks just as smooth and without details as it used to. Litteraly nothing changed - but my pc now got heavy shutter (I'm on a previous-gen rig. i7-11700K + RX 6950 XT). Like it was smooth before but now it's barely playable... So yeah, the only thing it makes sharp is your framegraph, everything else remains as smooth and undetailed as before...
