Stop! Buy!

Alright: it's been 12 years since it came out. I played it about 8 years ago. Don't go: it still looks fine. Together with the level design and music, it's purely CINEMATIC. Now, I don't have a lot of patience for older games, but when seeing the screenshots I can remember the sheer excitement. The levels were stunning, and you feel like you're living in this fantasy world. The leveling up stuff works great. The atmosphere is foreboding and immersive. The enemies are great, and the creatures you're slaying them with is even better. The game mechanics are worth just a 6,5 or 7, but in total, it's an adventure worth while. For this money, it's a complete no brainer. In fact, I'll have a look myself. Maybe I should play it again. Meet Mordessa and Vatar :D

Hexen is back !

Definetly an underated hidden gem. If you have ever played Hexen, you'll like this medieval fps game ! The gameplay is quick and addictive ! You can play in a subjective view or first person. I definetly recommand the last one. 2 sides are available (light or dark) with different scenarios (linear). The dark side being harder and for experienced player. The replay value is quite good as you'll unblock a lot of different characters (but limited to 4 main different types : warrior, bower, engineer, wizard). I see two main weaknesses : 1) the colision management present some weaknesses and it becomes boring at some points. 2) combos are very limited for such a game.

great!

This game offers a lot but vary little.Not to much character cuskindove through me off.As most RPG's have beyond epic custimization.Like Perfect World.(tee hee on the BUST size changer for females :3)This has an expansive world with planty to find,kill,eliminate.The first boss:simple.Secound:Lava monster...a challenge. Never made it to 3rd :p All and all I give it a 4/5

doen't run on my windows 11 pc

Bought this game a while back. Had some fun with it. Thought I'd play another round with my newer windows 11 PC. Doesn't work--stutters, voice echoes, movement control freezes...--all the things already reported. Tried some published fixes. Still doesn't work. Suppose I'll move on to something else. Disapointed. Hope it's eventually fixed.

Action with a smile

I only have a memory of the original Xbox version but from what I remember this was quite enjoyable - definatly action orientated you will spend a lot of time geting gold to level up those all important weapons. The Xbox version had a horrible save point scenario - where you would save in a level midpoint and so I hope this was improved in the PC Version Its a 2001/2002 game so I know what to expect with a graphic engine of that time. Im going out on a limb and buying this 1 - from a nostalgia point of view, and because I miss these types of games. Nice price as well :-)
