Old game, but fond memories
EDMW doesn't age super well with small things like the arrow keys being used to control the camerca vs WASD (and no way to change it) and some limited troop options. But it does hit an old nostalga vibe. It's still fun...just maybe not as good as many modern RTS games. I'd say pick it up on sale for maybe a weekend if you want to give it a go. It won't change your life but it might kill some time.

My childhood
Not much to say, I am nostalgic to the game. Played it so much and find it super relaxing to enjoy now as an adult as well. Sure, it's not perfect, but still very playable.

great game
great game to play. However, the game is frozen when population reaches about 10,000 or more. This seems like a bug that the game cannot use all the RAM of a modern computer as it was written a long time ago. Please fix this so we can have massive battle with over 10,000 units. Thank you!
