Great game wasted with a joke difficulty

The graphisms, the gameplay and the humour is great. The only thing bugging me with that game is the difficulty curve. There's none. The campaign is way too easy. So you play skirmish because you want more. But then normal is still too easy. And everything above just buff the enemies, wich made you fight damage sponges. It's bad design, so either you just steamroll everything in your way, or you just get raided before having the time to make your firsts traps. It's really annoying because I was starving for more dongeons 2.

It's okay

It's some sort of strategy game and dungeon builder with two layers of gameplay: Managing your dungeon and clean sweeping the overworld of nasty heroes and adventurers. Balancing these layers is the key here. Having your units in the underground producing things or sending them out fighting. The difficulty remains very low for most of the campaign. It's a little bit more challenging if you play with friends. The DLC significantly ramps up the challenge. Still it's pretty basic compared to other strategy games. The main selling point is probably the humor. A narrator guides you through missions, frequently commenting on your actions and providing story context. Much of the humor relies on parody, referencing popular franchises like The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. Sometimes the jokes hit the mark and add charm to the experience; other times they feel a bit overdone. Still it did a pretty good job in telling a story, where you play as the evil beeing. Sometimes it was so bland, that i did not even remember the narrative anymore, even after i played some months ago. Like the jokes, it often seems as if elements have been borrowed from various other games. Warcraft, Dungeon Keeper, etc.. And that's why it doesn't really stand out in the genre. The Winther DLC is good though. You play as Arthas ... i mean Barthas as he joined the Legion of the Undead and fight against the remaining living Heroes he once accompanied. Kinda sounded familiar... anyway. Despite some people hated it, i really liked the difficulty here. I would probably enjoyed it even more, if the base game was a little bit harder.

Tolles Spiel

Habe das Spiel umsonst abgestaubt und ich muss sagen, es hat mich sehr positiv überrascht. Sobald man angefangen hat zu spielen entwickelt es eine regelrechte sogwirkung. Für die Kampagne brauchte ich beim ersten mal ganze 16 Stunden. Der Sprecher untermauert die Ganze Kampagne mit viel Charme und lustigen Sprüchen. Das Gameplay spielt sich sehr flüssig, und sobald man einmal einen Dungeon angefangen hat, kann man kaum mehr aufhöhren. Die Grafik ist sehr passend, benötigt nicht viel leistung und die Figuren sind liebevoll gestaltet. Die Ganze Atmosphäre im Spiel ist Toll. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung. Werde mir jetzt die DLCs holen.

Unplayable

Ran into a common issue, Game launchs but nothing happens when you click on any of the options to try and start a game. Tried a number of the work arounds online but none worked so uninstalled. Got it for free so not to worried but if I had paid for this would be unhappy. As it is currently unplayable feel it is important to warn people this may happen and will have to give lowest possible score. If developers provide an update to fix the issue will consider updating,
