Doom 64 used to be lesser known thanks to it being stuck on the N64. Thanks to it's naming scheme, many gamers at the time didn't play it because they thought it was a simple port of Doom 1. Doom 64 is much more. A whole new set of 32 maps, creepy new soundtrack, frightening new designs for demons, and a plot (if you care) that follows from Doom II and leads to the new Doom games. Also, this re-release comes with a new episode of 7 new maps. While there might be better ways to play Doom 64 on PC that give players more customization, this release is a perfect translation from console to PC.
