For a 2014 old laptop (not a review)
For anyone interested to know if this will run on an old laptop. On my 11 year (as in 2025) old i7-4710HQ laptop with 16GB of RAM, SATA SSD, GTX 860M with 4GB of VRAM. The game runs and has at 900p and a mix of mid to high settings, framerate between high 30s to 60. For me it's perfectly playable. Not that I wouldn't like better, but it is perfectly doable. If you are one of those who has an allergic shock if it is under 120fps, then obviously not for you. Though if you lower the resolution and settings more, if might get much higher. This is not a review as I haven't played more than a couple of levels. Just thought to help anyone with a similar old device wondering if it would run.

I am shocked to see this game on GOG but am very happy it is here (and is also on sale for 3.69 euro that is a BARGAIN!!). Like many others I also have this game on steam but have bought it here on GOG as I want to actually own what I buy. Considering how well this game is optimized it really shows how many games released today are just poorly made with bad/no optimization, yes games released nowadays look great but with bad performance, but if you look at this game it has great graphics with fantastic performance, no frame generation/DLSS/FSR or anything like that it looks and runs fantastically. The game play is non stop action like any doom game should be, and does not feel repetitive (at least to me it doesn't). All the fights, especially the bosses, are really fun to do. I strongly recommend this game to anyone who has not played it yet. 10/10 from me
