Same exact issues as the RE ports you did. A fan, a single passionate fan did it better already, for free. Either hire that guy, or do better yourselves. QoL aside, there are issues like lack of mapping features on controller (stick buttons for pause and inventory), T-Rex in DC2 lacking its roar, a KNOWN issue. For now, go get the SN version and use the Rebirth mod, it looks better, it runs better, it's free, these are my fav games of all time, and I'm not here to pay to get a sloppier worse version than Emulation or a free mod. It's also important to say, they never made the RE ports better either, they fixed some issues, but no other work on top of it for QoL stuff present in the mod. Again, you're paying for a worse version of something you can get for free, for no money. Not even achievos man, bare minimum.

While everyone's singing its praises I'd like to chime in that these games are simple 1:1 emulations of the originals and there's very little work involved to justify the price tag. The game itself is as you remember it and that's just the problem. Remapping is limited with some buttons being unavailable for it, there's no mouse input in the menus or game itself while earlier re-releases of other games were given this luxury. They lack widescreen support, with 4:3 being the only aspect ratio while the rest of the screen is filled with black bars. This is the most disappointing thing to me because I was looking forward to actually being able to see things on my screen without reading glasses. I'm happy that we got the games back, but the glaring flaws cannot be overlooked and I'd urge anyone interested in these games to wait until they go down in price or buy them at a steep discount.

Not sure why everyone else is creaming themselves over this game but it's way overrated. DC1 is Resident Evil with dinosaurs and adds nothing to the formula. That would have been fine 25 years ago but nowadays games like Signalis and Crow's Country have massively raised the standards for the genre. DC2 is a generic action game where you start with 100 ammo and enemies die in one hit. Booring.

I'm really happy that Gog finaly added this games, but disappointed that they don't include spanish for Dino Crisis 2...
