Diablo 1 HD Mod (Belzebub)
Beschreibung
The mod is fully playable in English. For other supported languages, localization is partial: while all UI elements remain in English, lore documents and quest content are translated.
Belzebub, or Diablo I HD Mod, is a complex modification for the first installment of the Diablo series, which introduces a number of interesting improvements to the gameplay, a lot of new content and - most importantly - increased resolution.
Belzebub enriches the cult Diablo series with a real mass of intriguing content, presenting it all in HD resolution. The modification adds new locations, missions, spells, skills and monsters, 204 unique items, 170 crafting recipes, several new character classes (Warrior, Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer or Barbarian), 28 sets and 105 set items, four difficulty levels available in the single player mode, as well as a host of other gameplay improvements. The developer has also thought of a few additions in terms of interface, support for widescreen, and - as we have already mentioned - full integration with the new Windows systems. There is no denying that there is a lot to it, so every fan of the series, especially of the ‘one’, will undoubtedly not pass by this modification indifferently.

Couldn't Install :(
Installer always stalls at 2% and then crashes. Bummer, was looking forward to giving this a go!

Fun, but can't save game whenever i want
It's overall very fun, grat mod. My only issue is that I can't save game in the middle of my mission, which sucks and I have to replay everything again.

Crashes often
Got it to install finally after getting install errors but it crashes every hour or so. Other than that, it's fun. There's more classes to play as and they all have unique skills that unlock and upgrade as you level up. It has a ton of quality of life updates that make it more like Diablo 2. There's a couple stashes in town with tons of tabs so you probably won't run out of stash space. You'll be doing every quest that's possible in the original game in one playthrough and some have been updated. Once you quit and come back, the levels will be reset so there's no issue of needing to start a new run to be able to keep killing and looting. There's a ton more enemies in every level now and with the fact that levels reset when you quit and come back, it makes it a bit grindy. Try it out if you have Diablo already. It's a free mod.
