Diablo + Hellfire

An excellent example of oldskool RPG, which got a essential and long needed refresh, for earning a recommendation on Windows 10. This is exactly the game Diablo 1 has been, bit by bit. It is way better than any of this hyped mods. Raw at its best. Buy it, enjoy it. It is the best loot from the crypt.

It's the original Diablo, one of the best, most classic action RPG's of all time. If your used too the newer games in the series like D2 or D3, keep in mind none of the QOL tweaks are there. So its a little bit of a choir to play in comparison. But you'll get used to that quick and get sucked back into its dark gritty atmosphere, and great music, as you chop, shoot, or blast your way through the hordes. And with the addition of the Hellfire expansion, this game got even better! Game looks and plays great, so if you wanna go back to the beginning, or, experience where the series started for the first time, you can't go wrong with this package. Defiantly a must purchase.

Over 20 years later, the original Diablo is still just as engrossing as ever. This GoG release runs beautifully on modern systems, letting you experience the game just as it was. Of course, this means you get to experience this inaugural effort's more irksome quirks ("I know I heard a ring just drop, where is it???" and "Okay, which of these 20 items that I left laying in the town has that Dex boost on it?" are always popular), but if you don't let those little quality-of-life things bother you, there's a wonderful, atmospheric adventure to be had. And of course plenty of monsters and loot.

Maybe I have my nostalgia glasses on, but this game is still a blast after all these years. I love dungeon crawlers, but I don't like them to be overly complicated. I don't need a hundred systems to manage. I enjoy the simple mouse click, button mashing, minimalist affairs. The original Diablo scratches that itch for me in spades.

Diablo 2 is my most favorite game of all time, so I always wanted to finish whole series. Sadly, Diablo 3 not fulfill my expectations, and I love Grim Dawn instead. But I never finished Diablo 1, due to overpowered **** saying "Ahhh, fresh meat!". Now I use another tactic: genocide first 5 levels before fighting with the son of the ****. Having much bigger level I totally destroyed him. Rest of the game was quite easy.
