Hellfire
Where's Hellfire tho?

Legendary cool game!
Cool! Now you can how many hours you just spent in this masterpiece game. There to pass yes replay can be at least ten times if not more. It would be even cooler if the Hellfire add-on was added.

Multiplayer
Maybe is so hard to play using Battle.net, but we are starting comunity of Diablo (HD) by GOG.com using Hamachi using network name: gog_diablo_x (x is number 1,2,3,4,5 at the moment) Password: diablo I am in network gog_diablo_4 and gog_diablo_5 (pass: diablo) There is a post talking abut it in forum of diablo. I post it to give support and to say that there are still ways to play with other people using Multiplayer - Local Area Network(IPX) :).

It's everything you remember.
This game holds up well. It has everything that I remember: - Unforgiving enemies. - Long walks back to town because I forgot to carry a scroll of town portal. - Inventory management that has all the fun of packing your luggage, complete with the Wizard's audio of "Where would I put this?" - The clickings. THE CLICKING. I've been playing lots of Diablo III lately. It's a game that gives you infinite scrolls of town portal, health potions that refill magically in a short time, and inventory management that doesn't require memorizing the shape of each item. Those are all things that help the game flow into a thrilling animated picture where monsters fear you, and you can rush back to town any time you want. This game is much different. It's slower. It's harder. It forces you to make decisions and backtrack through levels. It builds patience and rewards you slowly. You fear monsters and death takes you back to your last save point. The save button is the only redeeming factor of this game: you are allowed to save, and it will be the most often used game mechanic. There are lots of games on GOG that don't work as well on modern machines due to changes in computers over time. Not so with this game. You get everything the game had using the original mechanics. I loved it then and I love it now. The only thing that would make this better is if GOG would drop the Hellfire expansion.

Ahhh Fresh meat
Diablo is one of the first action RPG games I think I ever played. I had no idea what it was about, but the more I played the more I became "addicted" to the fast paced action gameplay. The formula is really simple. You go around killing hordes of monsters in real-time through randomly generated dungeons and level up using a very simple stat system. Oh and you buy and sell various items that ultimately help you defeat tougher enemies. Is it worth the asking price? I would have to say yes, because you also get the very well done soundtrack by Matt Uelman which is utterly unique and fits the game well. It might not be as good as Its successor Diablo II however it is still fun and worth a play through to the end if you enjoy this genre of game.
