Diablo + Hellfire

i got the news, that d1 was availlable on gog, i couldnt resist to........ spend 9 effing bucks on this gem. i never played it before, its worth the asking-price, just to see, how d2 developed compared to d1. there are many things i remember from the second game, but there is also alot of stuff missing. for example: you are not being revived after death anymore. instead you MUST save the game frequently, or you will lose minutes.... or even effing HOURS of progress. also the shop-system is a little more...... well, backwards than i thought. instead of picking items and moving them between your own inventory and the traders inventory, you click on text-items and stuff. its a little more complicated than normal, but it gets the job done.

This is a classic game for it's time, if you never played it and want to see how it all started pick it up. If your'e looking for the "Diablo" people rave about then find a copy of Diablo II.

... ein altes Nostalgie-Game, das ich immer mal wieder gerne raus hole um mal dem alten Diablo eine auf die Nuss zu geben. Im übrigen an die kommentierer mit einem Stern, die die englische Version anprangern. Dieses Spiel gab es noch NIE auf deutsch. Es gibt nur inoffizielle Patch oder Mods die das Spiel teilweise übersetzen, ob diese sich auf diese Version anwenden lassen, weiß ich aber nicht.

It's important to call-out that this isn't a remaster. You won't find HD graphics or other enhancements that community mods have added over the years. It's the great Diablo as you remember it 20 years ago... only it runs on your modern Window PC and supports your modern monitor. The game shows its age, but it's no wonder that it inspired a future genre of sequels, clones, and wannabes. A delight to revisit. You'll zip back in time as the first strums of the guitar open the game.

It good. Maybe okey with Diablo II (possible). Anyway, Diablo is a legend game RPG for everyone 8X-9X.
