Poorly designed, boring gameplay

If you want to play this game "terminator" style, think again. There's less ammo in this game than in a survival horror game like resident evil. The AI is also really dumb. Looting a room in this game requires an optional ability that goes on cooldown! You can see loot only for 6 seconds then you have to stand still and wait another 6 seconds to resume looting. So basically you can loot half the time and the other half you have to STAND STILL AND WAIT. That makes looting REALLY boring. And you can't even say that looting is optional, because money, health, energy, skill points, ammo, as well as side quest items are found only this way!

The GOG version doesn't run on my PC!

The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided GOG version doesn't start on my up to date Windows 11 PC! It instead shows up in the task manager for a matter of seconds before the process is abruptly terminated! The pirated version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided from IGG Games works perfectly when you don't use a controller! If you start the game from the main menu with an Xbox 360 controller plugged in using the cracked Steam version of the game it will immediately crashed to the desktop, but this can be mitigated by simply plugging in a controller after the game loads from the main menu!

Best Deus Ex

I remember when I played Human Revolution, I thought the original Deus Ex was still the better game, despite the worse graphics. Mankind Divided is a big step up, I don't think I can go back to playing the original after playing this beautiful thing. I played it about a year ago, and honestly I don't remember feeling particularly let down by the ending because I'd had such a good time on the way. If they ever do an HD remake of the original, it might replace this one as my favourite of the series, until then, MKD is kind.

I loved Human Revolution and hate this.

This game is disgusting and I think I actually hate the devs for inflicting it on me. The scum artificially inflate the difficulty at the end to stretch the game length and its agonizing. I completed the game solely to get my money's worth and wish I had never bought it. Again, Human Revolution is probably my third favorite game of all time. This feels like they used those exact assets and engine and slapped them onto a legitimately terrible plot and added Borderlands-level spongey enemies to stretch a short, depressing, awful story. They also turned Jenson into a dainty noodle that gets blown down by a breeze even on Casual or Tell Me A Story. What a joke that difficulty turned out to be when the AI frustrated me so much I wanted to scream and throw my controller like in the old NES days. This game depressed me. It brought me down. It legit made me feel just bad. There are obvious parralells to a real agenda right now and everyone single person involved is human trash. Fuck this game.
